Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts under review or published with the Journal of Engineering are subject to screening using Plagiarism Prevention Software called Turnitin. Plagiarism is a serious violation of publication ethics. Other violations include duplicate publication, data fabrication and falsification, and improper credit of author contribution. Thus, Plagiarism or Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior are unacceptable and submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable. It is necessary to mention that the Journal of Engineering may ignore a duplicated manuscript of up to 20%.
The author should submit an original manuscript and an unpublished article for the Journal of Engineering. The manuscript must include a proper citation without plagiarism/duplication of the authors' previous work. The manuscript shall be submitted to Turnitin's plagiarism detection software before sending to the reviewers. The Journal of Engineering board will reject the manuscript if plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication. In addition, we will not accept manuscripts that are submitted elsewhere.
