The Journal of Engineering is a scientific journal published by the College of Engineering – the University of Baghdad since 1986. Its papers are reviewed by efficient and highly qualified professors in all engineering fields. It was originally published quarterly but started monthly in 2011 due to the abundant research papers submitted. All the editions issued are released on the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals website and the journal’s website. The Journal is edited and supervised by a multidisciplinary editorial board of specialized, experienced, and highly qualified professors in scientific research. Most of the scientists and researchers in Iraq and other Arabs who specialize in engineering participate in publishing their research work in the Journal because of its outstanding position among other similar journals in the Arab world.

AIMS AND SCOPE

The Journal of Engineering is an open-access, monthly, refereed, peer-reviewed journal. It focuses on the different disciplines of engineering.

Its scope covers almost all the aspects of engineering and technology and their related topics. The Journal of Engineering emphasizes publishing high-quality papers with an acceptable, professional, and considerable background.

The submitted papers undergo plagiarism screening, a double-blind peer review by professionals in the paper-specific specialty. This process is accomplished according to the Journal criteria of evaluation, where the paper's manuscript, contents, and organization are to be checked. The papers will be available online for the readers.
